An Analysis of the Saudi military intervention in Yemen

The crisis began when Houthis controlled most of the cities of Yemen and expand in them which was done with the help of forces associated with former President Ali Abdullah Saleh , moreover the support of iran, and when the security situation in Yemen deteriorated, President Hadi submitted a letter to the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) appealing  them to stand beside the state and protect The Yemeni people. The military intervention occurred as a result of this appeal  led by the Saudi armed forces, and included in its main participations the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Sudan to support the legitimacy of President Abed Rabbo Hadi in Yemen represented in the so-called Decisive Storm
